Camp Adventure Kicks Off Summer Program

Welcome to another magical summer with Camp Adventure! This summer Camp Adventure is pleased to join forces with our armed forces partners to help make this the best summer ever for the kids at Camp Zama and SHA.

The summer there will be plenty of time for fun, exploration, and amusement. The school age children (ages 6-9) will be called the RATS this year because 2008 is the year of the Rat!

Something fresh this summer is the brand new, Preteen Program. Youth ages 10 to 12 will have their own program which will be supervised by Mr. Mack and one Camp Adventure counselor.

Children young and old will enjoy the Camp Adventure games, songs, and activities. Also, when the summer heat gets too boiling, Camp Adventure kids will have plenty of time to go swimming and bowling. We have swimming time three times a week. Monday swimming is at Yano pool for the RATS. RATS swim at SHA pool on Wednesdays and Fridays. The preteens swim at Yano on Wednesdays and at SHA on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

In addition, this summer the School Age “RATS” and the preteens will have many opportunities to travel and explore several exciting destinations off post. This summer we will be traveling to such locations as; Mt. Fuji, Disneyland, Green Wave Park and Yomuuri Land – just to name a few!
